Q. Does CTDS membership apply to horses owned by CTDS members?

In accordance with the USDF Membership Information for GMOs, and the CTDS bylaws and P&Ps, membership to CTDS is for persons, and is neither transferable nor assignable. (Bylaws: Article III, Section 3.01) (Article II, Sections 1 2 and 3)

Q. If I join CTDS in mid-year, do I get a reduced rate on my membership fee?

The CTDS Membership year is from January 1 to December 31 (Article I, Section 5). Full payment of the annual fee, regardless of when a person joins, is required to be a CTDS member. Please also keep in mind that when you join will affect your Year End Award status. A rider must be a current CTDS Member on the date of the show for scores to count towards Year End Awards. (Article VII, Section 1, Subsection 7. l. 1)
